On August 27, the Labor Affairs Department of New Taipei City Government organized the "Bersukaria Bersama Taiwan dan Indonesia di New Taipei 2023" event at the Banqiao Station Plaza. Around five thousand people joined the festival to enjoy the traditional music, clothes, handicrafts and food from Indonesia. The NTPD was also there to spread the knowledge of anti-fraud, anti-human trafficking, and related regulations.

There are nearly 90 thousand foreign workers in New Taipei City currently, and more than 35 percent of them are Indonesians. We aimed to enhance the mutual understanding between employers and employees by experiencing each other’s culture and custom in this festival, hoping our friendship will last forever.
